The Best Things In Life

Roland and his wife Nike were driving home from service on Sunday when they noticed a new departmental store that had just been opened in their neighborhood. They decided to stop bye and do some window shopping. When they got inside, they found out that the prices of the items were lower than that of where they normally shopped.

This might have been due to the fact that the new departmental store was trying to attract new customers; Roland and Nike decided to take advantage of the relatively low prices and do some bulk shopping. They bought lots of groceries for the house and kept going to one department after the other looking for cheap prices.

After spending almost two hours at the store and quite some money, they were finally ready to go home. They felt pleased with themselves because of the massive discounts they got and it seemed as if the new store had almost everything.

No matter how well stocked a departmental store is, you will never find eyes, hearts and human body parts on display. You will also never find things like joy, peace of mind, love etc. on display simply because these are things that no human being can make.

Only God can give these things to us and you can’t even buy them with money. What amount of money would you offer God for the breath in your nostrils, for your heart that pumps blood etc.? Let’s always be grateful to God or the things He has graciously lavished on us.
